Selecting a paper

Click or tap any node on the map to select it. The sidebar (desktop) or bottom sheet (mobile) shows the paper's title, authors, year, citation count, abstract, and a PDF preview.

Similarity Algorithm

Below the abstract you'll find recommended papers, surfaced by a hybrid algorithm that weighs citation data and the ideas explored in each paper. We tuned the algorithm to provide a balance of foundational work, direct predecessors, applications, and neighboring research.

Recommended papers are highlighted on the map so you can see how they relate spatially. Click any paper to navigate to it — use the back button to retrace your path.
