Keyword search

Type in the search bar to find papers by title, abstract, arXiv ID, or full-text (e.g. 1706.03762). Results appear instantly as you type — no need to press Enter. Title matches are ranked highest, followed by abstract and full-text matches.

AI agent search

For broader research questions, type your query and press Enter. The AI agent interprets your question, searches across multiple strategies, and assembles the most relevant results. You can watch its reasoning steps in real time.

The agent works best with open-ended questions like "What are the key papers on constitutional AI?" rather than exact title searches.

Autocomplete

As you type, ghost text suggestions appear inline. Press Tab or → to accept a suggestion, or keep typing to dismiss it. You can toggle autocomplete on in Settings. It is off by default.

Filters

Use the filter icon to narrow any result set by publication year or author. Filters work across search results, agent results, similar papers, and saved lists.
